The Indianapolis Colts have waived running back D’Onta Foreman from the injured reserve with an injury settlement, per Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star.
Foreman, who was claimed by the Colts after he was waived by the Houston Texans, tore his biceps muscle in the preseason Week 2 game against the Cleveland Browns.
The Colts didn’t figure him into the future plans of the backfield seeing as they reached a settlement following the injury. Foreman will now go through waivers and if he clears as expected, he will become an unrestricted free agent.
In 11 career games with the Texans, Foreman has taken 85 carries for 326 yards and two rushing touchdowns.
