Colts waive CB Holton Hill

The Indianapolis Colts waived cornerback Holton Hill on Monday, first reported by Adam Caplan and confirmed by Jim Ayello of The Indianapolis Star.

Hill was signed by the Colts right at the start of training camp and was competing for a depth role in the secondary. However, it appears he didn’t do enough to crack the roster, which would have been difficult given the current state of the room.

There is a chance that Hill becomes a part of the 16-man practice squad following the initial roster cuts this week.
