Colts vs. Dolphins: NFL experts make Week 4 picks

The Indianapolis Colts (0-3) aren’t going to be favored by many entering the Week 4 matchup with the Miami Dolphins (1-2) given the injuries and issues they’ve been dealing with to open the season.

As Vegas sees the Colts as underdogs for this road matchup at Hard Rock Stadium down in South Beach, this one seems to be a closer prediction than the previous weeks.

Here’s how some of the experts around the league are viewing the outcome of this Week 4 bout:

Expert Pick Score (if applicable)
Nate Davis (USA TODAY) Dolphins 24-20
Mike Jones (USA TODAY) Dolphins 23-20
Jarrett Bell (USA TODAY) Dolphins 24-20
Mike Clay (ESPN) Dolphins N/A
Gregg Rosenthall (NFL Network) Dolphins 21-17
Bill Bender (Sporting News) Colts 26-23
Dave Richard (CBS Sports) Colts N/A
Pete Prisco (CBS Sports) Dolphins 26-20
Jori Epstein (USA TODAY) Dolphins 27-23
Albert Breer (Sports Illustrated) Dolphins N/A
Bleacher Report Dolphins 23-21

Apparently, the Colts are only scoring 20 points this week. The majority of experts over at Tallysight have the Dolphins winning this matchup at the time of this writing.

The Colts haven’t looked like a team that can put together a full game for a win. The offense is playing like one of the worst in the league. The defense is frustratingly inconsistent. The injuries continue to pile on.

If there is one game the Colts can pull off the upset, it may be this one. They know Jacoby Brissett better than anyone in the league, including the team that is starting him on Sunday.

But entering the weekend, the experts around the league aren’t seeing an end to the winning streak in Week 4.
