Colts vs. Broncos Week 8 game flexed to 1:00 p.m.

The Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos were initially set to play one of the late afternoon games in Week 8, but the league has decided to change the time slot.

The matchup at Lucas Oil Stadium was initially slated for a start time of 4:25 p.m. ET, but the NFL pushed the game up to 1:00 p.m. ET on Oct. 27. The game taking its place will be the Oakland Raiders and Houston Texans.

The Colts are currently in the bye week looking to stay hot off their win against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Broncos are currently 1-4 and have a home matchup against the Tennessee Titans in Week 6 and a Thursday night game against the Chiefs in Week 7.

As the season progresses, the Colts could be flexed into some primetime games if they continue to play like they did against the Chiefs. This won’t be one of them, though, as the Colts and Broncos will be playing with the majority of the league at 1:00 p.m. ET.
