Colts vs. 49ers: Initial injury report for Week 7

The Indianapolis Colts (2-4) and San Francisco 49ers (2-3) released their initial injury reports on Wednesday as both teams prepare for the Week 7 matchup at Levi’s Stadium.

The Colts will start off the week with a number of players sitting out of practice due to injury, including a handful of starters.

Here’s a look at the initial injury for the Colts in Week 7:

*DNP = Did Not Participate — LP = Limited Participant — FP = Full Participant*

Player Injury Wed. (10/20) Thur. (10/21) Fri. (10/22) Status

Notes

  • WR T.Y. Hilton suffered a quadriceps injury and his status for Week 7 is up in the air after failing to practice Wednesday.
  • S Julian Blackmon is on the injury report with an Achilles injury. It isn’t clear what his status will be but it should be heavily monitored.
  • S Andrew Sendejo was inactive in Week 6 due to the concussion but it appears he’s progressing through the league’s protocol.
  • Since the initial report comes out Wednesday, it’s hard to differentiate between rest and real injury. Regardless, the DNP players will likely have to log at least a limited practice over the next two days to play against the 49ers.
  • Rookie DL Dayo Odyeingbo was seen on the practice field for the first time this season while LG Quenton Nelson and WR Dezmon Patmon were designated to return to practice from the injured reserve list.
