Colts’ updated draft order following Day 2 of NFL Draft

The Indianapolis Colts moved around the board throughout the second and third rounds but came away with four selections when Day 2 of the 2019 NFL Draft was all said and done.

The Colts focused heavily on finding athletes and high-character prospects and even though it remains to be seen how the class will turn out, the outlook is optimistic with the Day 2 picks.

Here’s a look at the Colts’ updated draft order entering the final day of the draft:

  • Round 2 (No. 34) – CB Rock Ya-Sin
  • Round 2 (No. 49) – LB Ben Banogu
  • Round 2 (No. 59) – WR Parris Campbell
  • Round 3 (No. 89) – LB Bobby Okereke
  • Round 4 (No. 129)
  • Round 4 (No. 135)
  • Round 5 (No. 144)
  • Round 5 (No. 164)
  • Round 6 (No. 199)
  • Round 7 (No. 240)

With four selections in the book, the Colts have a lot of upside from their Day 2 picks. It should be noted they moved back three spots from the No. 46 pick and wound up adding that extra fifth-round pick (No. 144) from the Browns.

The Colts addressed some needs while also adding some athleticism to the defensive side of the ball. The defenders taken on Day 2 all have a high ceiling to be impact starters at their respective levels while Campbell has the chance to become a true play-maker on the offense.

The Colts have six selections remaining in the draft. They are subject to change, but there is still some very intriguing depth to consider on Day 3 of the draft.
