Colts’ updated 2020 draft picks after trade with Jets

The Indianapolis Colts officially traded cornerback Nate Hairston to the New York Jets in exchange for a 2020 sixth-round draft pick.

With the addition of the Day 3 selection, the Colts now have nine picks in the upcoming draft—a number that is likely to change as the season and future offseason approach.

Here’s a look at the updated 2020 draft pick order for the Colts after Wednesday’s trade with the Jets:

  • First round
  • Second round (from WAS)
  • Second round
  • Third round
  • Fourth round
  • Fifth round
  • Sixth round
  • Sixth round (from NYJ)
  • Seventh round

It has been a big part of Chris Ballard’s M.O. since taking over as general manager to acquire draft picks. There is a chance he could be willing to move up in the first round to grab a quarterback, but that’s simply speculation at this point.

The Colts enter the regular season with nine total picks in the 2020 draft, but don’t be surprised if Ballard is still looking to add more.
