Colts’ updated 2019 NFL Draft order with compensatory pick

The Indianapolis Colts were awarded a compensatory pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, giving them an extra selection at the end of the fourth round.

With the addition of the compensatory pick, the Colts now have nine selections in April’s draft, which should give them ample opportunity to add depth and talent to a promising roster.

Here’s an updated look at the Colts’ draft order after the addition of the compensatory pick:

  • No. 26 overall (Round 1)
  • No. 34 overall (Round 2) – from New York Jets
  • No. 59 overall (Round 2)
  • No. 89 overall (Round 3)
  • No. 129 overall (Round 4)
  • No. 135 overall (Round 4)
  • No. 164 overall (Round 5)
  • No. 199 overall (Round 6)
  • No. 240 overall (Round 7)

The draft order is subject to change throughout the offseason, especially considering he “forfeited” picks from the 2018 supplemental draft.

The Colts have a chance to add some real talent with six selections in the first four rounds. With Chris Ballard’s relative success with mid-round picks, there is a chance some solid depth can be added to a young roster.

The 2019 NFL Draft begins Thursday, April 25, at 8:00 p.m. ET in Nashville, TN.
