Indianapolis Colts defensive tackles Tyquan Lewis suffered an ankle injury against the Atlanta Falcons and is doubtful to return.
It isn’t clear when Lewis suffered the injury, but it is significant enough to be ruled doubtful right off the bat. He is the third Colts’ defensive linemen to suffer an injury on Sunday with Denico Autry and Al-Quadin Muhammad both suffering injuries.
Lewis was inactive Week 1 as he as trying to work his way back from a knee injury and now has to deal with an ankle injury. Fellow defensive tackle Jihad Ward was a healthy scratch on Sunday.
Replacing Lewis will likely be Grover Stewart while veteran defensive end Justin Houston could see some additional time inside as well.
