Colts training camp practice roundup: Aug. 6

The Indianapolis Colts were on the field for a light training camp practice on Tuesday as the final time before the preseason opener against the Buffalo Bills.

Deon Cain sighting

Phillip Walker just hit Deon Cain about 30ish yards down the left side, and and Cain gets his toes in for the catch.

Devin Funchess is having a strong camp

Grover Stewart appears ready for Year 3

On the third team’s first rep in 11-on-11s, Grover Stewart broke through the line to sack Chad Kelly. Sacked Kelly for a safety the other day too.

D’Onta Foreman is now in with the offense, and they give him the first carry and reception. Trying to get him involved right away.

Light workload for the Colts ahead of the preseason opener

Very light work today for Colts ahead of Thursday’s game in Buffalo. With several starters nicked up, I’d expect them to be really cautious. Remember, Mack and Cain both got hurt last year in the preseason opener in Seattle.
