Since Chris Ballard took over as general manager of the Indianapolis Colts, he has made it a point for the organization to be more transparent when it comes to several aspects of the game.
While he can’t be too transparent in danger that other teams will find out what they are doing, Ballard and the Colts will be running a five-part web series that will give fans an inside look at the draft process.
The series will be called “With the next pick” and will begin airing Wednesday night, April 3, on the team’s website.
There are a lot of teams that don’t like for people –media or fans — outside of the organization to know what they are doing. This is what sets Ballard apart from the rest of the league, and it isn’t the first time he’s done something like this.
Following the 2018 NFL Draft, Ballard brought several media members into the draft room to show them why they made certain selections in the draft.
The Colts are grinding through the draft process leading up to April’s big event, and fans will get a close look as to what some of that is like in the new web series.
