Colts defensive tackle Jihad Ward is a strong dude. He’s 6-foot-5, 291 pounds and can throw medicine balls through walls.
He learned that the hard way this week.
The Colts Twitter account posted a video on Wednesday of security footage showing Ward accidentally damage a wall with a medicine ball. Judging from the hilarious reaction, he knew he was in trouble immediately.
And there was a witness!
While the average person probably can’t relate with throwing a soft medicine ball through a dang wall, it is nice to know that NFL players, who workout constantly, are not immune to the occasional gym blooper. That part was relatable.
The Colts are going to need to put a sign up or something to explain that medicine-ball throws are not allowed against thin metal surfaces.
The good news for Ward was that the Colts probably weren’t too upset if they were willing to tweet the video out publicly. Accidents happen, and at least the fourth-year pro was putting some work in.
You can’t get angry about that.
