Colts storm back from 15-point deficit to force OT vs. Chargers

The Indianapolis Colts and Los Angeles Chargers are heading into overtime during the Week 1 matchup at Dignity Health Sports Park.

At one point during the third quarter, the Chargers held a 15-point lead over the Colts. The game seemed over. But then the Colts saw Marlon Mack rip off a 63-yard touchdown to make the score 24-16 in favor of the Chargers.

Then the Colts rode the backfield down the field en route to a 16-play, 80-yard touchdown drive that ended with a T.Y Hilton touchdown—his second of the game—and a two-point conversion from Mack to tie the score with 38 seconds remaining in the game.

The Chargers tried to get down the field on their final drive, but the Colts defense was able to stifle the drive and force overtime with the score tied 24-24.
