Colts still have interest in free agent WR Dontrelle Inman

The Indianapolis Colts have made a few moves this offseason with the majority of them coming in the form of re-signing their own. One of those thought to be a candidate to return was wide receiver Dontrelle Inman.

After a strong second half with the Colts, Inman was set to become a free agent when the new league year began. It was revealed the Colts had interest in re-signing him but that they would allow him to test the market.

Roughly two weeks into the league year, Inman is still a free agent, and general manager Chris Ballard told 1070 The Fan the team still has interest in bringing him back.

Inman emerged as the WR2 on the outside opposite T.Y. Hilton. The veteran was a solid intermediate target that showed off reliable hands and solid route running. He also was one of Andrew Luck’s favorite targets on third down.

It remains to be seen what kind of market Inman has, but it seems there is still a chance he returns to the Colts this offseason after impressing in 2018.
