Colts’ snap counts from Week 9 loss to Steelers

The Indianapolis Colts (5-3) suffered some self-inflicted wounds on the way to a 26-24 loss against the Pittsburgh Steelers (4-4) on Sunday at Heinz Field.

The loss moved them down in the standings to second place behind the Houston Texans, and it was obvious the absence of T.Y. Hilton had a major impact on the efficiency of the offense.

Here’s a look at the offensive snap counts from the Week 9 loss:

Zach Pascal led the wide receiver room with 94% of the snaps while Chester Rogers and rookie Parris Campbell split time. Josh Andrews replaced Ryan Kelly at center while Brian Hoyer relieved Jacoby Brissett following his knee injury.

Here’s a look at the defensive and special teams snap counts:

Linebacker Darius Leonard was the only player to see 100% of the defensive snaps. Safeties Khari Willis and Clayton Geathers are splitting time next to Malik Hooker while rookie Marvell Tell saw a massive uptick in snaps. Undrafted rookie Shakial Taylor saw just one snap on defense.
