Colts’ snap counts from 31-24 loss to Raiders

The Indianapolis Colts (2-2) couldn’t come through on being favorites at home against the Oakland Raiders (2-2) in Week 4 as they lost 31-24 on Sunday.

Here’s a look at the offensive snap counts from the loss:

With star wide receiver T.Y. Hilton out with a quad injury, the Colts had to do some rotating in hopes they could find some consistent production from the position. Deon Cain led the way in snaps despite his low production while Chester Rogers, Zach Pascal and Parris Campbell followed closely behind him.

Due to game script and Marlon Mack’s injury in the fourth quarter, running back Nyheim Hines led the backfield in snaps.

Here’s a look at the defensive and special teams snap counts from the loss:

The rookies got a lot of playing time in this one. Cornerback Rock Ya-Sin and safety Khari Willis led the way playing all 100% of snaps while linebacker Bobby Okereke (85%) also saw significant playing time.

The snap counts for Kemoko Turay continue to plummet as he’s being used on less than 20% of snaps for the past two weeks.

The Colts will try to shake off this loss and get ready for the road matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs in primetime Week 5.
