Colts slide to second place in AFC South during bye week

The Indianapolis Colts enjoyed their bye and with Week 6 of the season passing, they will be in sole possession of second place in the AFC South.

For the second week in a row, an AFC South team went on the road to beat the Kansas City Chiefs in an upset victory. While it was the Colts in Week 5, this time it was the Houston Texans in Week 6.

The Texans came from behind to beat the Chiefs, 31-24, thanks to a big day from Deshaun Watson—who finished with 280 yards, a touchdown pass and two rushing touchdowns.

With that win over the Chiefs, the Texans took sole possession of first place from the Colts while the latter took sole possession of second place in the division.

This will all come to a head immediately in Week 7. The Colts will be coming out of the bye week to host the Texans at Lucas Oil Stadium in what should be an intense divisional battle.

But for now, the Colts will be in second place as they prepare for the Week 7 matchup.
