Colts sign TE Zach Conque

The Indianapolis Colts signed tight end Zach Conque and waived-injured tight end Billy Brown, the team announced Saturday.

Conque will be joining a tight end room that is currently comprised of Jack Doyle, Eric Ebron, Mo Alie-Cox, Ross Travis and Hale Hentges.

Per the release from the team:

Conque, 6-4, 235 pounds, participated in the 2018 offseason program with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans. In 2017, he spent time on the practice squads of the Texans and New York Jets. Conque participated in Houston’s 2017 offseason program and training camp. He originally signed with the Texans as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2017.

If Brown clears waivers, he will revert back to the team’s injured reserve list.
