Colts sign S Isaiah Johnson

The Indianapolis Colts signed safety Isaiah Johnson and waived cornerback D.J Killings, the team announced Friday.

Johnson is a familiar name for the Colts as he was one of the players that signed a reserve/futures contract with the team back in January. He was recently waived when the Colts signed veteran running back Spencer Ware on April 30.

Johnson (6’1, 210) has spent time with the Detriot Lions (2015) and Los Angeles Rams (2016-18) before joining the Colts this offseason.

He will be re-joining a safety room that includes Malik Hooker, Clayton Geathers, Matthias Farley, George Odum and 2019 fourth-round pick Khari Willis.

Killings also signed a futures contract with the Colts in January. He spent time on the active roster and practice squad throughout the 2018 season.
