Colts sign RB Keith Ford

The Indianapolis Colts signed running back Keith Ford and waived running back Aca’Cedric Ware, the team announced Sunday.

Per the release from the team:

Ford, 5-10, 219 pounds, spent time on the Buffalo Bills’ active roster and practice squad as a rookie in 2018. After spending the first 14 weeks of the season on the practice squad, he was promoted to the 53-man roster on December 12, 2018. Ford saw action in two games (one start) and compiled 21 carries for 79 yards. He also caught three passes for 21 yards. Ford originally signed with Buffalo as an undrafted free agent on May 11, 2018 out of Texas A&M.

Ware was signed earlier this week when veteran Spencer Ware started training camp on the PUP list with a muscle injury.
