The Indianapolis Colts signed running back Darius Jackson to the practice squad and released kicker Matt Gay from the practice squad, the team announced Friday.
Jackson has been on the practice squad for the entire season but was released when the Colts brought back wide receiver Daurice Fountain, who was waived ahead of the Week 8 matchup with the Detroit Lions.
Jackson has been working with the Colts as a depth piece. With Marlon Mack on the injured reserve list, they have been rolling with rookie Jonathan Taylor while Jordan Wilkins and Nyheim Hines mix in throughout games.
