The Indianapolis Colts signed defensive end Gerri Green to the practice squad and released defensive end Jamal Davis from the practice squad, the team announced Monday.
Green was a sixth-round pick with the Colts during the 2019 NFL Draft and spent the entire offseason with the team until being waived at the roster cuts at the end of August.
Before the Colts could get a chance to sign Green to the practice squad, he signed with the New England Patriots practice squad. He spent the first three weeks of the season with the Patriots before being waived this weekend.
Davis signed with the Colts practice squad on Sept. 2.
