The Indianapolis Colts signed defensive end Dadi Nicolas and waived cornerback Jamal Peters with an injury settlement, the team announced Tuesday.
A sixth round pick in the 2016 NFL draft, Nicolas has appeared in 11 career games. All of those games came during his rookie year in 2016. He has also spent time with the Seattle Seahawks and the Washington Redskins.
A native of Haiti, Nicolas (6’3. 251) will be entering a defensive end room that includes Jabaal Sheard, Justin Houston, Kemoko Turay, Al-Quadin Muhammad and Gerri Green.
It remains to be seen if Nicolas will crack the roster, but he will get his chance with the Colts this summer.
