Colts sign CB Isaiah Langley

The Indianapolis Colts signed cornerback Isaiah Langley and waived tight end Zach Conque, the team announced Sunday.

With cornerbacks Pierre Desir and Rock Ya-Sin banged up a bit entering the final week of training camp, the Colts need some bodies in the secondary.

Per the release from the team on Langley:

Langley, 5-11, 180 pounds, participated in the Oakland Raiders’ 2019 offseason program and training camp before being waived on August 9. He originally signed with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent on June 11, 2019.

Collegiately, Langley played in 49 games (12 starts) at USC and totaled 104 tackles (79 solo), one interception and 15 passes defensed. As a senior in 2018, he appeared in all 12 games (eight starts) and compiled 46 tackles (36 solo), one interception and eight passes defensed. In 2017, Langley saw action in all 14 games (four starts) and registered 38 tackles (29 solo) and six passes defensed. He played in 12 games in 2016 and finished with eight tackles (six solo). As a freshman in 2015, Langley appeared in 11 games and tallied 12 tackles (eight solo).

Conque spent just over a week with the Colts after he signed with the team as a free agent on Aug. 3.
