Colts set to begin Week 2 of OTAs

The Indianapolis Colts have officially gotten through the first week of organized team activities with two more on the horizon before the start of veteran minicamp.

There wasn’t a whole lot of news following the first week of OTAs outside of some injury updates and some players like tight end Mo Alie-Cox and wide receiver Parris Campbell having some solid outings.

Here’s a look at the remaining dates of OTAs for the Colts:

  • May 29-31
  • June 3-6

The Colts have seven more OTA practices remaining on the schedule. They are set to have three this week followed by four next week, which will wrap up OTAs and bring us right into veteran minicamp.

The position battles and depth chart rotations will continue to be the storylines to watch, but there is another to keep an eye on regarding quarterback Andrew Luck’s calf strain.

The 29-year-old missed the first week of OTAs due to a calf strain and will be re-evaluated this week to see if it is worth getting him on the field.

The offseason training program is in full swing as the Colts enter the second week of OTAs with just a few weeks left until the team breaks for summer.
