Colts’ Ryan Kelly (neck) expects to play vs. Dolphins

Indianapolis Colts center Ryan Kelly suffered an injury to his neck — known as a burner or stinger — against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 9, and it was significant enough to keep him out of the second half of the game.

Though Kelly wasn’t able to come back into the game, the fourth-year center doesn’t believe his neck injury to be serious and expects to play Sunday against the Miami Dolphins at home.

The injury reports will give a better idea as to the status of Kelly throughout the week, and it will be a big boost to the offensive line if he is able to return in Week 10.

The first injury report comes out on Wednesday. His status should be monitored all week. If he can’t play, Josh Andrews will take the reins at center again.
