The Indianapolis Colts removed wide receiver Daurice Fountain from the Non-Football Injury (NFI) list and placed running back Spencer Ware on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list, the team announced Wednesday.
With training camp set to begin Thursday, the Colts didn’t have many injuries to account for outside of Ware, who is expected to miss the first few weeks of training camp due to what was disclosed as a muscle injury.
Fountain was placed on the NFI list Monday after rolling his ankle but now that he’s been taken off said list, there should be no limitations for the former fifth-round pick as he looks to make a bigger impact in Year 2.
The Colts are set to officially begin training camp Thursday at the Grand Park Sports Complex in Westfield.
