Colts remain 3.5-point underdogs vs. Bucs

The Indianapolis Colts (6-6), having lost four of their last five games, aren’t viewed as the favorites in the Week 14 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-7) at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday.

Opening the week as 3.5-point underdogs against the Bucs, the line remains the exact same now as it did earlier in the week. Indy will be entering the weekend as 3.5-point road dogs when they hit the tarmac trying to make something of their season, per BetMGM.

This is crunch time for the Colts even though their odds to make the playoffs are extremely thin as it stands right now. They are currently the No. 9 seed in the playoff race and don’t hold any tiebreakers with the teams that are ahead of them (Titans, Steelers, Raiders).

It has been a long road from their 5-2 start. The offense hasn’t been nearly what it was at the beginning of the season. Over the last five games, the Colts have averaged a measly 19.8 points per game.

They will have a tough opponent in the Bucs. While they are streaky, the Bruce Arians-led unit has won three of their last four games and are one of the best run defenders in the entire NFL. Their pass rush is also led by the current leader in sacks in Shaq Barrett (14.5).

If the Colts lose this game, it is likely that their season becomes unsalvagable. To compound the issues, they enter the Week 14 matchup as underdogs.
