The Indianapolis Colts reached an injury settlement with linebacker Ahmad Thomas on Wednesday.
Thomas was waived/injured on Aug. 31 during the team’s roster cuts following the preseason and was placed on the injured reserve list after clearing waivers. Now that an injury settlement has been reached, Thomas has been removed from the I.R. list
Thomas signed with the Colts practice squad in Sept. 2018 and was called up to the active roster in December. He spent the entire offseason and preseason with the Colts before being waived.
Now that he has been released from the I.R. list, Thomas becomes an unrestricted free agent.
