Colts re-sign OT J’Marcus Webb

The Indianapolis Colts re-signed offensive tackle J’Marcus Webb, the team announced Friday.

The veteran offensive tackle will be returning to the Colts after spending the majority of the season on the injured reserve list. He earned the start at right tackle in Week 1 but suffered a hamstring injury during the fourth quarter of the opener that landed him on the injured reserve list.

Webb, who will be 31 years old in August, is likely a depth signing for the Colts, who could use some at the tackle position. With Anthony Castonzo and Braden Smith as the starters Webb will battle it out with Joe Haeg and Le’Raven Clark.

Webb has played 81 career games in the NFL, which includes 65 career starts.
