The Indianapolis Colts officially begin the preseason with a road matchup Thursday night against the Buffalo Bills at New Era Field.
There will be plenty to watch during the preseason opener, even if the starters won’t be on the field long—or at all. Among the things to keep an eye out for are the position battles taking place.
On both sides of the ball, the Colts have several heated competitions that have been going on since the spring workouts. There is still a long way to go before those competitions are over with, but the preseason opener will give us a look at how they are taking shape.
