Colts’ practice injury report: Sept. 4

The Indianapolis Colts held their first practice of the week on Wednesday in preparation for the regular-season opener against the Los Angeles Chargers.

With that first practice came the first practice injury report, which didn’t feature too many names—something that hasn’t happened too often for the Colts in recent seasons.

Here’s a look at Wednesday’s practice injury report for the Colts:

Sheard hasn’t practiced since injuring his knee following the first training camp practice. He had a minor knee procedure during the preseason, and it’s unclear when he will be ready to go.

Thursday and Friday’s practices will be crucial for the players on this list for their status ahead of Sunday’s regular-season opener at Dignity Health Sports Park.
