Colts’ Player of the Game vs. Texans: QB Jacoby Brissett

The Indianapolis Colts came into this game wanting to throw the ball. They demonstrated that by starting the game with a 94-yard drive capped off by a touchdown from Jacoby Brissett to Zach Pascal. The Colts threw the ball nine of 12 plays on that drive.

Brissett’s big day came off of 326 yards passing and four touchdowns. Brissett really showed his poise and stayed in the pocket to deliver against an impressive Houston pass rush. Four touchdowns also set a new career-high in touchdown passes for Brissett.

Brissett had a pair of touchdowns to Pascal, a quick strike to T.Y. Hilton and another one to Eric Ebron who made an acrobatic catch in the back of the end zone for the score.

The Texans made a strong effort to stop the run in this game and forcing the Colts to air it out. Brissett answered the call and was monumental in the Colts picking up a big division win at home.

The Colts sit atop the AFC South at 4-2 on the year as Houston drops to 4-3. Having success while coming out of the bye week was huge for Indy as they hope to regroup next week against Denver.
