Colts’ player of the game vs. Chiefs: RB Marlon Mack

Marlon Mack was a game-time decision coming into the Indianapolis Colts’ primetime matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night. Boy, are the Colts happy he was healthy enough to go.

Mack had another dominating performance on the ground totaling 132 yards on 29 carries. He also added three catches for 16 yards.

Mack did not seem to be dealing with an ankle injury as he slashed through a banged-up Chiefs defensive unit that has struggled with the run all season.

He was also huge on third and fourth downs as well picking up multiple conversions on the way to a 19-13 win in Arrowhead Stadium.

This rematch of the AFC divisional round did not disappoint as Mack averaged 4.6 yards per carry behind the Colts offensive line that played stellar once again.

With the bye week coming up, it’s a great chance for Mack and the other injured Colts to get some much-needed rest as they try to keep their success going.

As long as Indy can run the ball at will like they did tonight with Mack leading the charge, they may not lose many games throughout the rest of the season.
