Colts’ Pierre Desir (hamstring) upgraded to questionable

The Indianapolis Colts upgraded cornerback Pierre Desir from doubtful to questionable for the Week 9 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the team announced Saturday.

Desir didn’t practice all week due to a hamstring injury, but it seems there is some optimism he might be able to play on Sunday against the Steelers. Though it is likely he is going to be a game-time decision.

The Colts have already ruled out wide receiver T.Y. Hilton, who could be out for a few weeks due to a calf injury. Safety Malik Hooker and defensive end Justin Houston are questionable for the matchup.

If Desir can go on Sunday, they will have their full group of starting cornerbacks along with rookie Rock Ya-Sin and Kenny Moore. If he can’t, Ya-Sin will fill his role at outside cornerback.
