Colts’ Philip Rivers throws 400th career touchdown pass

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Philip Rivers threw his 400th career touchdown pass during the Week 3 matchup against the New York Jets on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium.

On the offense’s first drive of the game, the Colts drove down the field all the way to the goal line. On play action, Rivers found tight end Mo Alie-Cox on a leak out for the easy touchdown, which gave the Colts a lead 14-7 lead at the time.

Here’s a look at the milestone touchdown pass for Rivers:

Rivers is the sixth quarterback in NFL history to achieve this milestone. He trails only Drew Brees (550), Tom Brady (544), Peyton Manning (539), Brett Favre (508) and Dan Marino (420).
