As the 2019 NFL Draft approaches, each team will have a hat to represent the organization for their future prospects to put on when their name is called.
Each hat will have a unique aspect to it this year as there are city tie-ins on the design. For the Colts, it appears they paid homage to the flag of Indianapolis on their 2019 draft hat.
There are some mixed reviews out there about the design of the hat, but isn’t bad at all as far as draft hats go. There are certainly worse designs out there, and it is much better than the “Colts Forged” slogan that appeared on the 2018 hat.
Over the past two seasons, the Colts haven’t had their first-round pick in attendance for the draft, so we haven’t been able to see the prospect put the hat on following their name being called.
It remains to be seen if that will change on April 25 when the Colts are on the clock with the No. 26 overall pick in the draft.
