Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Parris Campbell avoided a torn ACL in what looked like a nasty injury in the 28-11 win over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.
The Colts just lost safety Malik Hooker to a torn Achilles, which was confirmed Monday—one week after losing starting running back Marlon Mack to the same injury in Week 1.
While Campbell didn’t suffer the season-ending injury, he will be out indefinitely with a PCL injury, per Adam Schefter of ESPN. It isn’t clear what kind of injury occurred to the PCL, but it will sideline the second-year wideout for a while.

How long Campbell will be out with this injury remains to be seen. The Colts are unlikely to put a timeline on it, but it does appear he has the chance to return at some point during the regular season with the limited information we have.
Campbell endured a rookie season that was littered with injuries. He had four separate injuries during his first season, three of which required surgical correction. Now, the MRI shows an injury to his PCL, which will keep him out of the Colts offense for a while.
With Campbell out, the Colts are likely to lean on a combination of rookie Michael Pittman Jr., Zach Pascal, Ashton Dulin and Daurice Fountain to play alongside T.Y. Hilton.
Hopefully, Campbell won’t be out too long and can return to help the Colts compete for the division, but he will be out indefinitely with a PCL injury.
