Colts’ Parris Campbell clears concussion protocol

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Parris Campbell has been cleared from the league’s concussion protocol, head coach Frank Reich told reporters Thursday.

Campbell was placed in the league’s protocol last week after enduring a “minor” car accident. After progressing quickly through the protocol, the second-year wide receiver is a “full-go” according to Reich.

Campbell has been working mostly from the slot throughout training camp and has been shining as a top target from veteran quarterback Philip Rivers, who doesn’t appear to be missing a beat despite entering the new offense.

With Campbell as a full-go now, he should be in competition for the second-most targets in the offense behind T.Y. Hilton.
