Colts open as 9.5-point home favorites over Dolphins in Week 10

The Indianapolis Colts (5-3) are hoping to bounce back from a loss when they host the Miami Dolphins (1-7) in Week 10 at Lucas Oil Stadium.

For those fans hoping for a win to get the Colts back on track, Vegas hears you. Even with the questionable status of quarterback Jacoby Brissett (knee), the Colts open this home matchup as 9.5-point favorites, per BetMGM.

Regardless of whether it is Brissett or Brian Hoyer under center, the Colts are rightfully viewed as favorites. Even though the Dolphins are coming off their first win of the season, the Colts will be hungry to prove they belong in the AFC playoff hunt.

The total for the matchup opens at 43.5 points, which is typical for two offenses that don’t score all that much. If the Colts were to cover this spread, it would be the first time this season one of their games has been decided by more than one score.

The Colts will likely be without wide receiver T.Y. Hilton (calf) while the Dolphins just lost wide receiver Preston Williams (ACL) and running back Mark Walton (suspension).

If the Colts are truly a playoff contender, they will win this game with ease at home.
