The Indianapolis Colts (7-4) will be looking to bounce back this week when they visit the Houston Texans (4-7) at NRG Stadium for a divisional matchup.
Despite being on the road and coming off of a rough loss, the Colts will open the week as three-point road favorites over the Texans in Week 13, per BetMGM. The game has a relatively high 52.5-point total while the Colts’ MoneyLine opens at -159.
This season, the Colts are 6-5 against the spread while the total has gone over seven of their 11 games this season. In November, the Colts were 2-2 against the spread while the total went over in three of the four games.
Conversely, the Texans are 4-7 against the spread this season with the total going over in six of their 11 games as well.
Much of this has to do with the competition the Colts have been facing and the fact that the offense has played much better with Philip Rivers under center. The unit is more explosive in the passing game while players like Michael Pittman Jr. and Nyheim Hines are contributing on a regular basis.
