Colts open as 1-point underdogs to Steelers

The Indianapolis Colts (5-2) are coming off a gritty win and are set to travel east to visit the Pittsburgh Steelers (3-4) at Heinz Field in Week 9.

Before the week of preparation starts for the Colts, they will be opening as slight underdogs on the road against the Steelers. BetMGM has Indy listed as one-point underdogs in the matchup.

The total for the matchup is set relatively low at 42.5 points in Week 9. It isn’t clear if the injury to running back James Conner has anything to do with it.

The Colts have won three games in a row and five out of their last six. They are currently 2-1 on the road with wins coming against the Tennessee Titans and Kansas City Chiefs.

The Steelers will be relying heavily on Conner (if he can play) and wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster. With Mason Rudolph under center, the Steelers are coming off of a prime-time win against the Miami Dolphins.

This is a big matchup for the Colts on the road in the middle of a vital stretch to begin the second half.
