Colts officially promote Marcus Brady to OC

The Indianapolis Colts promoted quarterbacks coach Marcus Brady to the role of offensive coordinator, replacing Nick Sirianni, the team announced Monday.

Though this was already reported last week, the Colts announced the move, which made it official. Brady will be moving up in the coaching staff while the Colts are going to need to find a new quarterbacks coach.

Sirianni was officially announced as the Eagles head coach on Saturday and along with him went defensive backs coach Jonathan Gannon, who is the new defensive coordinator in Philly. Kevin Patullo also joined them as the Passing Game Coordinator.

Brady has been with the Colts since the new staff under Frank Reich arrived in 2018. He has been instrumental in the development and process of quarterback room, which is why he was the prime candidate to be the offensive coordinator.

The Colts have a few spots to fill on the coaching staff, but there is plenty of excitement around Brady getting an opportunity to be the offensive coordinator.
