Colts’ Mike Mitchell vouches for Antonio Brown

Over the next few months, there will be a raging debate as to which teams might be interested in trading for Pittsburgh Steelers star wide receiver Antonio Brown. The Indianapolis Colts will certainly be among the teams listed as potential suitors.

One of the reasons Brown might be looked upon as a player to avoid is the baggage he brings along with him after the past months of being disgruntled with the Steelers while requesting a trade.

While teams might have reservations about bringing Brown in, Colts veteran safety Mike Mitchell vouched for his former teammates on Twitter.

Mitchell, who is set to be a free agent in March, played with Brown from 2014-17 during their time with the Steelers. Mitchell is a well-respected veteran and someone that the Colts were very fond of despite the safety only spending half of a season in the locker room.

It remains to be seen if the Colts will show interest in trading for Brown, but Mitchell vouched for his former teammate as teams will begin looking into trade options.
