Colts make several roster moves

The Indianapolis Colts waived six players and released one player in efforts to get the roster down to 80 players, the team announced Sunday.

Among the players waived include wide receiver Rodney Adams, defensive end Jegs Jegede, offensive tackle Cedric Lang, cornerback Picasso Nelson Jr., linebacker Brandon Wellington and offensive tackle Travis Vornkahl.

The one player released from the team was running back Darius Jackson. Now, the Colts have 82 players currently on the roster after they released tight end Matt Lengel.

They will need to get the roster down to 80 players by Aug. 16.
