The Indianapolis Colts have been blessed to play at the gorgeous Lucas Oil Stadium, and it has once again been named the NFL’s best stadium.
In a ranking of all NFL stadiums by Marc Viquez of Stadium Journey (h/t Jake Arthur of Colts.com), the Colts’ venue rose above all to take the top spot again.
The home of the Indianapolis Colts once again tops our list of NFL venues and is among the sites top overall sports facilities. The stadium offers one of the better settings in the league with its downtown location in close proximity to interstate access. The organization has taken advantage of the setting by creating Touchdown Town outside the venue that house tailgating, concerts, games for kids, and plenty of socializing. The retractable roof opens up to provide a cool breeze of air and an open view of the nearby skyline.
Also home of the NFL combine, the Colts played well when they were at Lucas Oil Stadium in 2018. Indy was 6-2 at home during the season as opposed to 4-4 on the road.
Once the Colts got rolling in the second half of the season, the crowds on Sundays gave Indy a true advantage that helped them secure a playoff spot for the first time since 2014.
