Colts’ Kenny Moore to have MRI on rib injury

The Indianapolis Colts came out with a big win against the Tennessee Titans on Thursday night, but cornerback Kenny Moore had to exit early due to a rib injury in the second half.

It isn’t clear how severe the rib injury is for the star slot cornerback, but it was enough for him to be ruled out for the majority of the fourth quarter. Though T.J. Carrie had a nice game in his absence, Moore is one of the most important defenders for the Colts.

Head coach Frank Reich told reporters following the game Thursday night that Moore will have an MRI to determine the severity of the injury.

The Colts have been getting solid play all season from their cornerback room. From the bounce-back of Xavier Rhodes, the development of Rock Ya-Sin and the solid depth addition of Carrie, the entire room has been working as a great complement to Moore.

The Colts will get a few extra days of rest before the Week 11 home game against the Green Bay Packers, but this will certainly be something to monitor throughout next week.
