Colts’ Kemoko Turay (neck) downgraded to OUT vs. Titans

Indianapolis Colts defensive end Kemoko Turay has been downgraded from doubtful to out for the Week 2 matchup against the Tennessee Titans, the team announced Saturday.

Turay has been dealing with a neck injury since the week of practice leading up to the regular season opener. He was able to play against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 1 and was impactful despite the neck injury.

However, the second-year pass rusher didn’t log any type of participation during this week’s practice. He was listed as doubtful on Friday when the Colts released the designations and even though he wasn’t expected to play anyway, Turay is officially out for Sunday’s divisional matchup.

With Turay officially out, expect Al-Quadin Muhammad and rookie second-round pick Ben Banogu to share time at right defensive end.
