Colts’ Jabaal Sheard, Jonathan Williams ruled out vs. Titans

Indianapolis Colts head coach Frank Reich told the media Friday that defensive end Jabaal Sheard and running back Jonathan Williams have been ruled out for the Week 2 matchup against the Tennessee Titans.

Sheard hasn’t practiced since the first day of training camp due to a knee injury while Williams did return to practice this week for the first time since suffering a rib injury in the preseason.

Reich also said defensive end Kemoko Turay is a game-time decision with a neck injury.

It isn’t much of a surprise that Sheard and Williams will be inactive. They still seem a ways away from returning to the field. Turay didn’t practice at all this week so it isn’t clear if he will be healthy enough to suit up on Sunday.

The Colts and Titans are set for a 1:00 p.m. ET game on Sunday at Nissan Stadium.
