Colts’ Ian Silberman (abdominal) taken to hospital

The Indianapolis Colts began their preseason with a Thursday night matchup against the Buffalo Bills at New Era Field, but guard Ian Silberman was taken to the hospital during the first quarter.

Silberman, who was signed this week, was taken to a local hospital for precautionary reasons due to abdominal issues. It isn’t clear how severe the medical issue is, but there should be an update following the game from head coach Frank Reich.

Silberman was signed by the Colts on July 30 after he was waived by the Carolina Panthers, who signed him to a reserve/futures contract during the offseason.

Silberman has played in three career games. We will update this post when more information is available.
